agentilo version 2.2 available

The new version of the Agentilo software is now available. Alongside various minor enhancements and bugfixes, version 2.2 includes important changes regarding the KNX editor, the process model editor and the visualisation editor.

KNX Editor

  • Data can now be exported from ETS4 to a project export file. The exported file has the extension .knxproj and can be imported to the KNX editor.
  • When importing a project from ETS to the KNX editor, you have the option to update group addresses already existing in the KNX project. The KNX editor now contains a function which allows to lock group addresses for the update through the ETS import. Thus, changes that have been carried out in the KNX editor on the properties of a data point, will not be overwritten. These properties include the name, the data point type, the unit, the rights and the description of the data point.

  • The group addresses can now be displayed in three different modes: the 2-level, the 3-level and the free address structure.

  • In version 2.2 the KNX editor provides the possibility to create group address ranges. This allows you to create as many address ranges as you wish within each main and middle group. A group address range, in turn, may contain further address ranges. This feature makes the configuration of your KNX project easier and more flexible.

Process Model Editor

The configuration options for the import of CSV files have been extended: The new configuration options include the setting of delimiters for decimal points, time and date specifications. Another option allows to put the year first in the date specification.

Visualization Editor

New webbrowser controls have been added:

  • a webbrowser control for binary input which allows to display external or local websites for binary values;
  • a webbrowser control which is used in connection with a text string and which allows to enter URLs in the player mode;
  • a webbrowser for the display of websites or webcams.

Bugfixes

Agentilo is now completely compatible with Windows 7:

  • A bug that occurred when sending email notifications under the operating system Windows 7 has been fixed.
  • Under Windows 7 some elements of the visualisation were not displayed correctly. These elements included transparent display elements and animated GIFs. This bug has also been rectified.
